About

Thanks to growing up in a military family, moving has been a constant in my life. It's allowed me to encounter a variety of cultures and personalities, which get my creative juices flowing, or should I say gushing. I currently reside in a small Connecticut town, with my charismatic cavachon, Steve.

We all know someone who, after recalling stories, is told "you should write a book!" The author recounts tale after tale that of her time working for the federal government. Henderson does a fantastic job in this book making sure it is known that these are the things that happened to her, not throwing the blanket statement of "this is what happens when you work for the feds". Her writing style was very unique and something I hadn't seen before. As she narrates the stories there is intermixed inner-monologue (in italics). The commentary throughout the book is quite hilarious!

I love Fed Up! It's a quick read, very relatable and it nice to have someone shed a light on how different area of government work. I will continue to suggest this book to anyone whether they work in the government or with crazy people. Walking through her journey may make you feel a bit better about things happening in your work life. I suggest to pick up a glass of wine or a nice cup of tea and read this on a Sunday. It will make you smile and may help you cope with craziness you encounter at work.

I am a proud graduate of Angelo State University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology. While on active duty, in the United States Air Force, I earned a Master's in Forensic Science. I was inspired to write my first novel Fed Up! after years of working with characters even Hollywood couldn't dream up.
